STS values community and that is why we believe in giving back and making a difference. During this period, we focussed on education, environment, communities and social upliftment, leaving the world a little better, one initiative at a time.
Backing the Thomson Smillie Foundation’s annual cycle tour, enabled us to support education. Staying on the topic of education, in affiliation with the Training Academy for Community Schemes in South Africa (TRACS), we launched an online training platform to provide free community scheme-related courses. We also supported communities in need through financial assistance, food and care packages in collaboration with Faith Foods Distribution.
We sponsored and installed a completely off-grid solar and battery storage solution for the Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary, catering for the NPO’s daily power and water necessities.
By becoming a proud premier sponsor of Women in Sectional Title (WiST) we are well-positioned to assist in promoting gender equality in the community scheme industry.
In terms of our solution offering, we’ve assisted community schemes to gain grid independency and save even more on energy costs with our Battery Backup and Hot Water Solutions being added to our Efficient Energy portfolio.
Resulting from a partnership with GLOVent, we now also offer community schemes access to an integrated platform that makes community management a breeze.
