Every unpaid levy puts pressure on the owners who do pay. Recovering arrears takes time, persistence and specialist knowledge – and in most community schemes that responsibility falls on trustees and managing agents who already carry a full workload. When follow-up slips, accounts age, recovery becomes harder and the cost of legal action starts to climb.

The Strategic Collections Partnership (SCP) takes that responsibility off your hands. STS manages the recovery of your scheme’s outstanding levies at every stage – from the first reminder through to legal action where it is needed – while keeping trustees informed and involved in the decisions that matter. Our fees are earned only on what we recover, so there is no monthly fee, no retainer and nothing to pay upfront.

Fees are success-based and linked to the stage at which each account is recovered, so STS is only paid when your scheme is.
Early arrears are handled through reminders and payment arrangements, while longer- outstanding accounts move to formal letters of demand and, where appropriate, applications to the Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS).
Debtors are contacted through comprehensive communication channels, and every payment arrangement is tracked through to settlement.
Where legal action is needed, attorneys are appointed on your scheme’s behalf and STS monitors every legal milestone so matters keep moving.
Trustees receive a monthly report covering amounts collected, the trend in the age analysis and any decisions needed on accounts older than 120 days.

All STS fees exclude VAT. Attorney, court and sheriff costs are settled directly between your scheme and the appointed attorneys and are not STS fees.
