RECOVERABLE ESD CAPITAL. MEASURABLE COMMUNITY IMPACT.

STS Growth deploys corporate transformation funding (ESD) into vetted community scheme projects through loan, grant and blended structures, supported by transparent reporting and the potential to recycle repaid capital.

STS Growth

WHO WE ARE

STS Growth (Pty) Ltd (STSG) is a Majority Black-Owned, Level 2 B-BBEE contributor that connects corporate transformation funding with practical investment in South Africa’s community schemes. We support sectional title bodies corporate and homeowners’ associations that require capital to restore essential infrastructure, improve safety, strengthen financial resilience and create more sustainable places to live.

STS Growth is supported by BC Funding Solution’s 20-year community scheme lending track record, with more than R2 billion deployed across over 3,000 schemes, together with Gemmill Advisory’s 35 years of structured finance experience. This foundation enables us to assess opportunities, structure fit-for-purpose funding and manage deployment through established lending infrastructure.

Since 2024, STSG has secured grant and interest-bearing loan contributions, deployed capital into its first funded schemes and begun receiving loan repayments. Where funding is structured as a loan, repaid capital can be redeployed into new projects, extending the impact of a contribution beyond a single funding cycle.

WHAT WE DO

We manage the full funding lifecycle, from identifying suitable opportunities to tracking repayments and reporting measurable outcomes.

Assess scheme needs and project viability

We use community scheme financial information, governance records, municipal data and proprietary credit and impact assessment models to identify projects that are both viable and capable of delivering meaningful community benefit.

Structure and deploy capital

We design Enterprise Development, Supplier Development, Socio-Economic Development and ESG-aligned funding solutions using interest-bearing loans, interest-free loans, grants or blended structures, depending on the funder’s commercial objectives and the requirements of the community scheme project.

Monitor performance and measure impact

We track deployment, project delivery, repayments and agreed impact measures, and report to corporate contributors on how their contribution has been applied against the agreed STS Growth ED Plan, with the documentation required for verification.

A practical route to transformation objectives

STSG helps corporate contributors translate Enterprise Development, Supplier Development, Socio-Economic Development and ESG objectives into identifiable projects, each with a defined funding structure, an ED Plan, and measurable, verifiable outcomes.

The STSG Approach

WHY FUNDERS PARTNER WITH STS GROWTH

Partnering with STS Growth means aligning your financial objectives with transformative social impact. Here’s why

A PRACTICAL ROUTE TO TRANSFORMATION OBJECTIVES

STSG helps funders translate Enterprise Development, Supplier Development, Socio-Economic Development and ESG objectives into identifiable projects with defined funding structures, documentation and measurable outcomes.

EXPERIENCED EXECUTION CAPABILITY

Our model is supported by BC Funding Solutions’s established community scheme lending infrastructure and Gemmill Advisory’s structured finance experience, reducing the execution burden for funders.

FLEXIBLE CAPITAL STRUCTURES

Contributions can be structured as interest-bearing loans, interest-free loans, grants or a combination of these, allowing the funding approach to be aligned with the corporate contributor’s commercial, scorecard and impact priorities.

CLEAR VISIBILITY OVER DEPLOYMENT AND RESULTS

Corporate contributors receive reporting on capital deployed, funded projects, repayment performance and agreed impact measures, creating a clear link between the original contribution and the outcomes achieved against an ED plan.

HOW TO PARTNER WITH STS GROWTH

Here’s how it works

1. Align objectives

We confirm the Corporate contributor’s B-BBEE, ESG, financial and timing objectives, including the required contribution and year-end considerations.

2. Select the funding structure

Together, we determine whether an interest-bearing loan, interest-free loan, grant or blended structure is most appropriate.

3. Complete the documentation and deploy

STSG prepares the required agreements and supporting documentation, including acknowledgement letters, ownership certificates and affidavits, and then deploys capital into approved opportunities.

4. Track performance

Corporate contributors receive capital statements and impact reporting that show how funding has been deployed by STS Growth, how STS Growth projects are progressing and, where applicable, how loan repayments are performing.
